Road safety, engineered into the surface

Grip where it
matters most.

HFST gives drivers a hidden margin of safety on the curves, ramps and intersections where ordinary pavement runs out of grip.

01 / WHY HFST

The road can do more

The difference between control and a crash can be a few feet of pavement.

HFST bonds polish-resistant calcined bauxite to the roadway with a high-performance resin. The result is exceptional, lasting friction exactly where vehicles brake, turn and recover.

02 / DOCUMENTED PERFORMANCE

Outcomes, not promises.

Before-and-after studies from state DOT programs show a consistent pattern: when available grip rises, severe roadway departures fall.

03 / THE SYSTEM

Simple in section.
Exacting in execution.

Three layers work as one. Select each layer to understand why material quality and placement precision matter.

Layer 01 · Wearing course

Friction that refuses to polish.

Refractory-grade bauxite is fired near 3,000°F, crushed and tightly graded. Its extreme hardness preserves sharp microtexture under years of braking, cornering and snowplow traffic.

04 / FIELD RESULTS

One treatment. Many contexts.

From rural curves to urban intersections.

HFST works without asking anything from the driver. No new behavior. No new training. Just more available friction, every hour and in every condition.
